Larry Dean Parker

Larry Dean Parker, 76, of Vidor, passed away Monday, November 10th, 2025, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native and lifelong resident of Vidor, Larry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He was a member of Vidor Church of Christ and spent his career as a dedicated truck driver. Larry cherished time spent outdoors, especially hunting with his son and fishing with his daughter. He loved being surrounded by family and took great pride in cooking for those he loved most. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Kathie Parker of Vidor, TX; his children, Larry Parker of Vidor, TX, and Joyce Parker of Vidor, TX; and his sister, Kathy Parker of Vidor, TX. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Brayden and Avery Parker, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Larry will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love for family, and the many memories he created with those who knew and loved. He will also be remembered for driving the JOY bus that brought children to church that would not otherwise have an opportunity to hear God’s Word. He enriched many children’s lives by his ability to drive.
