Leray Joseph Lafleur

Leray Joseph LaFleur, 83, of Beaumont died Sunday, September 11th, 2022 at Calder Woods in Beaumont, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of Vidor, but had lived in Beaumont for the last year and a half. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor and belonged to the Knights of Columbus Council # 5789. He was self employed and enjoyed woodworking and gardening as his hobbies. He also raised Koi Fish and loved to travel. Leray served his country in the U.S. Army. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. There will be a visitation at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor on Sunday September 18th, 2022 at 12:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Sunday, September 18th, 2022 at 2:00 PM. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Leray is survived by his significant other Sue Doiron of Beaumont, TX, his children Terry LaFleur and wife Gretchen of Vidor, TX, Ray LaFleur and wife Kiara of Vidor, TX, Reene Chesser of Vidor, TX, and Kathy Clark and husband Edmond of Pensacola, FL, as well as 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Priscilla LaFleur, his parents Ira and Laura LaFleur, his brother Dale LaFleur, and his son Benton LaFleur.
