Lillie Bell Eakens

Lillie B. Eakens, 91, of Portland, Indiana died Monday, October 27, 2003 at her residence. A native of Batson, Texas she lived in Vidor since 1975, before moving to Portland in 2000. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 1, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with graveside services to be held at 4:00 p.m. at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze, TX. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2003 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. She is survived by her daughters, Juanita Gierhart of Portland, Indiana, and Anita Fontnow of Vidor, Texas. Eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.
