Lillie Evelyn Blankenship

Lillie Evelyn Blankenship, 98 years and 7 months old, of Vidor TX, went home to the Lord on January 25, 2023. A native of Beaumont, TX, she was a long-time resident of Vidor.

She was a devoted and beloved mother to 13 children and is survived by her daughters: Lillie Jane Masters, Rebecca and husband Gary Markham, Sarah and husband Wayne Jones all of Lumberton TX., Nancy and husband T.C. Vercher of Vidor, TX., Mary and husband Robert Hammock of Silsbee TX., and her sons William Blankenship of Humble, TX., Patrick Blankenship and Paul Blankenship of Vidor TX., Thomas Blankenship and wife Marilyn of Kountze TX., 39 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Ethyl and Preston Eugene Young, her husband Eugene Clifton Blankenship, sons Jessie, Jerry, Samuel, and Clifton Blankenship; her sisters Patsy Rachael Tynes and Iris Eugenia Barnhart and brother Floyd Young.

The celebration of her life will be held at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, on Monday, January 30, 2023, at 10:00 AM and visitation will be on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Following the chapel service, a graveside service will be held at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, TX.

Pallbearers include Thomas David West, John Paul Hevrin, Larry Hevrin, Chris "Bull" Blankenship, Blake Blankenship, and Dylan Gale.
