Linda Gail Corley

Linda Gail Corley, 65, of Vidor, passed away on Thursday, December 14th, 2023, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. Linda, a dedicated member of the community, was a beloved resident of Vidor.

Linda was a woman of faith and an active member of Turning Point Church, where she found solace and community. She devoted a significant part of her life to education, retiring as an elementary teacher from the Vidor Independent School District. Her impact on the lives of her students will be remembered with gratitude.

A true lover of life, Linda had a variety of interests that brought her joy. She found peace and happiness by the beach, indulging in her love for the ocean. Linda was an avid reader, finding escape and inspiration within the pages of her favorite books. She enjoyed the thrill of shopping, the rhythm of dancing to live music, and the delight of trying new foods and snacks. Puzzles were a favorite pastime, and Linda had a passion for collecting shoes.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, and the family will host a celebration of life service for Linda on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Turning Point Church in Vidor, reflecting on the rich and vibrant life she led.

Linda is survived by her three cherished granddaughters: Lori Wilson, Jessica Corley, and Grace Myers. She is also survived by her siblings: Brenda Mans and husband Leon, Karen Bradley, Wayne Morris and wife Debby. Linda is remembered with love by her former husband, Wesley Corley Jr., former son-in-law Nathaniel Bailey and wife Tina, and her dearest friend Mary Finch. Additionally, numerous friends and family members deeply loved Linda, and her memory will live on in their hearts.
