Linda Michelle Lewis

Linda Michelle Lewis, 49, of Vidor, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. A longtime resident of Vidor, Linda was known for her deep love for her family, especially her grandchildren, and her passion for jewelry. She was a beautiful and amazing mother, grandmother, and daughter, whose kindness knew no bounds.

Linda was the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. Her generous spirit and warm heart made her a beloved figure in the lives of many. She had a special love for animals, especially her dog Tipsy, whom she pampered and treated like her baby.

Linda is survived by her children: Betsy Stratton and husband Justin, John Thomas and wife Katracey, and Justin Thomas, all of Vidor, TX. She is also survived by her mother Rebecca Copeland of Vidor, TX, her grandfather Johnny Reid of Vidor, TX, and her sister Joanna Brocato of Fannett, TX. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Jacey, Johnny, Jocelyn Thomas, and Stetson Stratton.

She was preceded in death by her father William Copeland, grandmother Betty Reid, sister Renee Laird, and her grandson Ryver Stratton.

The family will have a celebration of life service for Ms. Linda on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Oak Grove Tabernacle in Orange, TX at 10:00 AM. The family has requested in lieu of flowers if donations could be made to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor to help the family with cost of this unexpected passing. 

Linda's memory will be forever treasured by all who knew and loved her.
