Linda Nell Ginsel Smith

Linda “Maw Maw” Smith, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on April 1, 2025. A longtime resident of Vidor, Texas, Linda spent 50 years building a life filled with love and cherished memories.

Linda had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in hunting, fishing, camping, birdwatching, and planting flowers. Above all, she loved her family, who were the heart of her world.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 41 years, Harvis Dean Smith; her three children, Janice Grissom, Jeff Leger, and Jody Leger; seven grandchildren, Ashley, Brad, Samantha, Jena, Weston, Karleigh, and Katelyn; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Her legacy of love will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. A celebration of her life will be held at Vidor Memorial on Saturday, April 5th at 2:00 PM.
