Lloyd Ray Cargill, Jr, 63 of Waco, TX was born March 9, 1958 and passed away November 23, 2021.
Lloyd was survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Karen Cargill; daughters: Britiany (Adrian) Baker, Chelsea (Johnathan) Broderick, Brandy (Kevin) Bernat, and Michelle (Matt Rind, fiance); sons Landon
(Jordan) Cargill and Jason Cargill; sisters Kathy (DW) Davis, Cheryl (Gene) Bell; brother Dennis (Pam) Cargill; brother-in-law George Ferris; sister-in-laws Debi (David) Hicks, Terri (Red) Whitmire, Denise
Carter and mother-in-law Barbara Breaux. Lloyd had 18 grandchildren with one on the way (Aurora, Avery, Kaleb, Joel, Bella, Zion, Owen, Gaige, Justice, Lydia, Joshua, Patrick (PJ), Kolton, Scarlett, Bekah, Milo, Holly, Rayleigh, and Oakley). He loved each one of them with all of his heart. Lloyd also had numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Lloyd Ray and Lea Ila Cargill, Father-in-law
Ray Breaux, sisters Sarah Ferris and Janet Cargill, and brother-in-laws John Dunham and Arthur Carter.
Lloyd grew up in Vidor, TX and graduated with the class of ‘76. He was a career police officer for
Beaumont Police Dept, Orange County Sheriff, Rose City Marshall, and Baytown Police Dept for
over 25 years. He loved hunting and fishing and would talk with anyone about it. He was proud of “his boys” Mackey and Buddy. He was always singing and would
break out in song mid-conversation if the opportunity arose. Memorial services are to be held Thursday, December 2 at 10 am at Vidor Memorial Funeral
Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the
Epilepsy Foundation.
