Lonie Maurice Mcright

Lonie M. McRight, 79, of Vidor died Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. A native of Glenmore, LA, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Lonie was owner/operator of Lewis Nursery in Vidor and was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church in Mauriceville. He served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Orange. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home. Lonie is survived by his wife of 57 years Dolly Donnaud McRight, daughter Vickie McRight Duffy of Alexandria, LA, 2 grandchildren: Ryan Heath Duffy and Lindsey Duffy Gibbs, and 3 great grandchildren: Rhys Duffy, Jackson Gibbs, and Heath Gibbs.
