Mabel Marie Peveto

Mabel Marie Peveto, aged 95, a cherished resident of Vidor, peacefully departed this life on Sunday, May 12th, 2024, at Serenity Place in Beaumont. Mabel was a beloved member of the Vidor Methodist Church, where she found solace and community. Her life was dedicated to the joys of homemaking, where her warmth and care filled her family's lives with love. Mabel had a passion for exploration, often found traveling to new destinations, indulging in her love for reading, and embracing the art of crotchet and working through challenging word puzzles. She is survived by her loving children Donna Sue Williamson and her husband Bennie of Kirbyville, TX, and Bruce Edward Peveto and his wife Peggy of Vidor, TX. Mabel's legacy also lives on through her grandchildren: Teresa Faries and her husband Todd, Lee Williamson and his wife Donna, Tracy Williamson and his wife Rae lyn, Stacy Ueckert and her husband Jason, B.J. Peveto, John Edward Garcia, and Kelly Jones. Her memory is further cherished by 13 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Mabel was preceded in death by her beloved husband, A.A. "Babe" Peveto, her father Roy Peveto, her mother Mary Applegate, and her stepmother Agnes Peveto. Mabel's life was one of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.
