Madge Lee Sharp

November 4, 1928 — January 19, 2015

Madge Lee Sharp, 86, a lifelong resident of Vidor died on Monday, January 19th, 2015 in Beaumont. She was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church since 1953 and a long time member of the Benevolent Committee at the church. She was also one of the original founders of the Christian Care Center of Vidor and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Madge is survived by her 3 daughters, Gwen Maldonado and husband Jerry of Nederland, JoAnn Wheeler and Barb Turner of Point Blank, Texas, and Cindy Hammonds and husband Tommy of Orange. She is also survived by a brother, William Goode of Beaumont, 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Madge is preceded in death by her husband, G.T. Sharp and a son, Charles Sharp. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2015 at Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
