Margaret Elena Jones

Margaret E. Jones, 101, of Mauriceville died Sunday, March 7, 2004 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home of Vidor. A native of Greensburg, LA., she has lived in Mauriceville since 1945, and was a homemaker. Graveside services will be Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Rigmaiden Cemetery in DeQuincy, LA., under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will begin Monday, March 8, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home. Margaret is survived by her sons, Charles R. Jones of Houston, TX., Gerald K. Jones of Goodrich, TX., daughter, Dorothy A. Ware of Mauriceville, TX., 15 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 30 years Charlie M. Jones, sons, Lynn H. Jones, Larry E. Jones, and Robert “Bobby” Jones.
