Marion Lee "Mimi" Foster

Marion Lee (Mimi) Wade Foster, age 76, passed away on Thursday, May 4th, 2023, at Silsbee Oaks Nursing Home in Silsbee, Texas. She was born on March 28, 1947, in Beaumont, Texas, and had worked many years in Beaumont and Gatesville, Texas. She had recently retired to Orangefield.

Mimi loved going to the casino and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was always the life of the party, bringing joy and laughter to everyone she met.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. The family will have a celebration of life for Mimi on Monday, May 29, 2023, at 10:30 AM at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Kountze, TX. The address is 1600 S. Pine St., Kountze, TX, 77625.

Mimi is survived by her two sons, Scott and wife Sherry Wade of Fannett, TX, and Mike and wife Kristy Wade of Kountze, TX, her brother Ronny and wife Sandy Guidry of Vidor, TX, her sister Jeni and husband Jerry Brennan of Gatesville, TX, sister-in-law Mary Morgan of Beaumont, TX, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George William Morgan Jr. and Margaret Spell, her brothers George William "Buddy" Morgan III and Donny Guidry, and her dog Princess.

Mimi will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her spirit will live on in the memories they shared with her.
