Mark Allen Stark, 54, a beloved member of the Vidor community, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. Mark was a longtime resident of Vidor, where he made lasting impressions with his warm heart and friendly demeanor. He found solace and spiritual fulfillment as a devoted member of Caney Creek Open Door Church, where his presence brought comfort and joy to fellow parishioners.
Mark's greatest joys in life were his cherished grandchildren and his loyal canine companions, who brought him endless happiness and companionship. His love for them knew no bounds, and they were a constant source of light in his life.
Left to carry on Mark's memory are his loving sister, Mary Ann Hansen, and her husband Glynn of Woodville, TX, his brothers, William Lester Stark Jr. of Evadale, TX, John Byron Stark of Orange, TX, and Ernest Lee Burch of Vidor, TX, step son JD Authement and wife Tiffany of Vidor, TX. Additionally, Mark is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, multiple nieces and nephews and a host of friends whose lives he touched with his kindness and compassion.
Mark's legacy of love, generosity, and unwavering faith will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him. Though he may no longer be with us in person, his spirit will continue to shine brightly through the memories and love he shared with all who had the privilege of knowing him.
