Martha Ann Kirk

Martha Ann Kirk, 67, of Vidor, died Friday, August 27th, 2021 in Nacogdoches. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and member of Vidor United Methodist Church. She was a bus driver for VISD for many years and loved her job and the children. She loved riding motorcycles and was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association, she also loved Christmas year around, going to trade days and flea markets, musicals, and most importantly she loved her family especially her kids and grandkids. She was very family oriented. Martha's visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Her funeral service will be Monday, August 30, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor beginning at 2:00 PM with interment to follow at Trout Creek Cemetery in Kirbyville, TX. She is survived by her husband of 32 years Dan Kirk Jr. of Vidor, TX, sons Rodney McGowan and wife Kristy of Mauriceville, TX, Russell McGowan and wife Janet of Kountze, TX, Ronald McGowan woodville, and Ricky McGowan and wife Susan of Warren, TX, siblings: Sandie Goats, Mike Reeves, Deb Duty, Dennis Reeves, and Cindy Wise, grandchildren: Britni Swearingen and husband Kyle, Jonathan McGowan, Emilie McGowan, Josh Church, Kolton and wife Amber Regalado, Ricky Regalado, Chance Regalado, Alex Chapa, Olivia Chapa, Alston McGowan, Sarah McGowan, Erica Ebarb, Tony McGowan, Kevin McGowan, Shelby Parker, JJ ohnson, and Stephen Wolfe, great grandchildren: Daniel, Samuel, Lexi, Kasey, Jaxon, Kolton, Katarina, and Troy, and life long best friend Karen White. She was preceded in death by her parents Melvin and Lerlene Reeves, Father and Mother in law Dan and Julia Kirk, daughter in law Raylene McGowan, grandson Chance Regalado, and baby brother Dennis Dewayne.
