Marvin Ramsey, Sr.

Marvin “Heck” Ramsey, Sr., 74, of Vidor died December 31, 2002 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. A native of Jackson Parish, LA., he lived in Vidor since 1974. He was a retired welder with Bethlehem Steel and served his country in the U.S. Army. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday January 3, 2003 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Thursday January 2, 2003 at the funeral home. He is survived by his son: Matt Ramsey of Burleson, TX., daughters: Mari Marsala of Missouri, Mindy Hanks of New Iberia, LA., 4 stepchildren and numerous grandchildren and great granchildren.
