Mary Ann Hollingsworth

Mary Ann Hollingsworth, 69, of Vidor, Texas passed away March 12, 2015. She was born in DeQuincy, LA on September 10, 1945. She moved to Vidor when she was about four where she remained most of her life. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, dancing, gardening, cooking and going to the beach. She also enjoyed playing games with her family and friends. She was always active and especially loved being by the water. She loved music, espcially cajun music! She was preceded in death by her parents, Mamie and Elmer Hollingsworth; sister, Margaret Simmons. Survived by: son, Richard Brister and partner, Dawn Cockerham; daughter Rhonda Powell and husband, Bo; son Edward Brister and partner, Clif Rice. Her brother, Donald Hollingsworth and wife, Carol. Her neices; Sharon Ivy and Sheila West; and nephews; Kevin and Randy Hollingsworth and their families. Her step-children; Cliff Rushing, Charlotte Rodriguez and husband, William, and Jimmy Doyle Rushing. Grandchildren; Saren, Ryals, Carter, Kevin, Hayden, Blake, Aaron, Rebecca, Monica, Jace, Jacob. Great grandchildren; Morghan, Zaiden, Emiliano. Visitation to begin March 15th at 6:00 pm, with services March 16th at 10:00 am at Memorial Funeral Home Vidor, Texas.
