Mary Louise Kattawar

Mary Louise Kattawar, 82, of Vidor, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont, Texas. Mary was a native of Beaumont, Texas, and a longtime resident of Vidor. She was a faithful member of The Meadows Church of Christ in Beaumont. Mary worked in Environmental Services at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont for 16 years prior to retiring, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. She had a creative spirit and took great pride in her beautiful embroidery work, as well as her love for art and crafts. These talents brought her joy and were shared with family and friends for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Mirinda Kattawar of Vidor, Texas; and her siblings, Carolyn Mallett, Judy Munson, Bonnie Coon and husband Rick all of Vidor, Texas, and Shirley Morgan of Spring, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Lynn Clark. Donations can be made to United Christian Care Center here in Vidor in Mary's name. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
