Maybelle Margaret Bowlen

Maybelle Margaret Bowlen, 86, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

Born in North Adams, Massachusetts, Maybelle made her home in Vidor, where she was a longtime resident and a devoted member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. A self-employed businesswoman, she was known for her independence, warmth, and love for her family.

Maybelle found great joy in cheering on her sons during their many sporting events and was a passionate fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Her strength and spirit were evident in everything she did, and she left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Lynn Bowlen of Vidor, TX; sisters Sally Ehrheart of South Pasadena, CA, and Toni Stone of Edgewater, FL; six grandchildren: Devin Garza, Ryan Bowlen, Mandy Bowlen, Ashton Bowlen, Austin Bowlen, and Tristan Bowlen; one great-granddaughter, Graesyn Bowlen and numerous nieces and nephews that she dearly loved.

Maybelle was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold Ray Bowlen, and her son, Wayne Arthur Bowlen.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
