Michael Duane Humberson

Michael Duane Humberson, 71, of Vidor, was a beloved country boy with a heart as big as the outdoors he cherished, passed away Thursday, July 31st, 2025 at his home. He was never happier than when he was hunting in the crisp dawn air or casting a line into his favorite fishing hole. His quick wit and sarcastic humor could light up any room, often leaving friends and family in stitches. Beneath that playful exterior was a genuinely kind soul, always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. Above all, Michael poured his heart into his family, loving them fiercely and unconditionally. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, generosity, and an unshakable devotion to those he held dear. His memorial will be held at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor on Tuesday, August 5th, 2025 with visitation at 12:00pm and the funeral service at 2:00pm. He is survived by his children Kimberly Cowan of Rosenberg, TX and Justin Humberson of Port Neches, TX, siblings Shirley Brindley of Starks, LA, Brenda Bonin of Mauriceville, TX, and Susie Manning of Mauriceville, TX, brother David Humberson of Vidor, TX, and 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Samuel Humberson Jr., Johnny Humberson, Sr., Gary Humberson, Marion Humberson and Terry Humberson.
