Michael "Mike" Lavon Fletcher

Michael "Mike" Lavon Fletcher, 68, of Vidor, died Friday, December 18th, 2020 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. He was a longtime resident of Vidor and longtime member of Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor. He retired from Christus Health Services and worked for Vidor ISD as a Para Professional after wards. In his free time he loved spending time with his family, which includes supporting his children and grand children in their sports and hobbies. He would make sure to attend any event they had and would even coach little league football and baseball with them. He loved fishing, golfing, and watching baseball and football as well. Visitation for Mike will be Monday, December 21, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor at 10:00 AM with a graveside to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Patti Fletcher of Vidor, TX, sons Chad and his wife Joanna Fletcher of Gillette, WY, Darin and his wife Lindsay Fletcher of Vidor, TX, daughter Nicole and husband Michael Holcomb of Vidor, TX, sister Pamela and husband Mike Paslay of Fayetville, AR, brothers Mark Fletcher of Vidor, TX and John Mulreany of Beaumont, TX, grandchildren; Blayne and Alexus Holcomb, Railey, Reese, Isaac, Ezekiel, and Anthony Fletcher, and numerous nieces & nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Beverly Fletcher, brother Clyde Fletcher Jr., sisters Linda Ruth Mulreany, and Betty Jo Reynolds.
