Mildred Loe

June 2, 1946 — September 3, 2023

Mildred S Loe, 77 of Buna Texas, went to be with our Beloved Savior on Sunday, September 3, 2023, surrounded by her family and friends. Known to family and friends as Mom, Mimi, and her all-time favorite Nana! She was loved dearly by all that knew her.

She was born on June 2, 1946, in Beaumont, TX to Athel and Majorie Sanders.

Mildred lived in Vidor most of her life and that is where she met the love of her life and raised her beautiful family. She retired from St Elizabeth Hospital in 2000, where she was the employment coordinator. Prior to starting her career, she was a homemaker and stay at home mom where she not only raised her children but always welcomed many nieces and nephews into her home.

Her greatest joy in life were her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and they were never far away from her! She was always up for a card game, dice game and an occasional board game. She loved to sing and make up songs about each grandchild. It was never too late to call Nana to go spend the night. There was always a cake on the bar or your favorite snack in the pantry!

She was preceded in death by her parents Athel Sanders, Marjorie Garret, and JW Garrett, Husband Horace Loe Jr, Daughter Sharon Loe. Sisters Jewel Griffin, Shirley Broussard, Mary Kilmer and brother Perry Sanders.

Those left to cherish her memory Daughter Janet Smith and husband Oliver of Vidor, TX, Sisters Flo Peveto of Orange, TX, Madeline Adcock and husband Randy of Austin, TX, Grandsons Braddley McClelland and wife Jennifer and Lee McClelland of Buna, TX, Jarrad McClelland and wife Ashley, Mason Smith, Caleb Smith and wife Amanda of Vidor, TX Granddaughter Shay Fleischmann and husband James of Vidor, TX.
