Milton Othell Walden Jr.

Milton Othell Walden Jr., 74, of Vidor died Thursday, August 18th, 2022 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont, Texas. He was a longtime resident of Vidor and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He was the president of the Senior Club at Our Lady of Lourdes. Throughout his life he worked as an electrician and enjoyed fishing and goose hunting. He also took up studying geneology as a hobby. Milton served his country in the United States Army going to Vietnam in 1969. He also found joy in playing board games with his friends and family. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #5789. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. There will be a visitation at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor on Saturday, August 20th, 2022 from 11:30 AM until 1:45 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Saturday, August 20th, 2022 At 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Milton is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Irene Walden of Vidor, TX, his son Milton O. Walden III and wife Brenda of Vidor, TX, his daughter Gina Briggs and husband Chris of Orange, TX his brothers, Gerald Walden of Lumberton, TX, Michael Walden of Kountze, TX, Greg Walden of McAllen, TX, and Brian Walden Lumberton, TX, and his sister Marie Westmoreland of Vidor, TX, as well as four grandchildren Erina, Emily, Ethan and Abbygail.
