Minnie Colleen Safer

Minnie Colleen Safer, 83 died Tuesday, June 23rd, 2015 in Vidor. A native of Texarkana, TX she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Colleen was a member of First Baptist Church of Vidor and retired as an LVN from Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Diane Warner and husband Randy of Cypress, TX, 3 sons, Ricky Safer and wife Gayle of Leander, Texas, Randy Safer and wife Sandee of Gallatin, TN, and Terry Safer and wife Teresa of Nolansville, TN. Colleen is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and sister, Betty Comer of Bethany, OK. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, George Safer, Sr. and son, George Safer, Jr. Visitation will be Friday, June 26, 2015 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Vidor with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
