Oscar Bubby Ellis

Oscar 'Bubby' Ellis, 70, of Vidor died Sunday, May 4, 2008 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Jefferson County, he was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Oscar was retired after 17 years and 4 months of faithful service with Wal-Mart. He was a member of the Vidor Historian Club, the Transportation Club of Beaumont, and a faithful worker and usher for his church. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at The Pentecostals of Pine Forest Church, with burial to follow at Mansfield Cemetery in Vidor, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 also at the church. Oscar is survived by his wife Carolyn Ellis, daughter Linda Kay Ellis, brothers Tommy Ellis, and Robert Ellis all of Vidor, sisters Peggy Moore of Beaumont, and Ruth Broadway of Vidor, and two grandchildren: David Turner of Vidor, and William Lightbody of Cashton, WI.
