Patricia Wingerson

Patricia "Pat" Bruce Wingerson, 79, of Vidor, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Mid Jeff Extended Care Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.

Pat was a devoted member of Turning Point Church in Vidor. She dedicated many years to education as a teacher at Oak Forest Elementary, leaving a lasting impact on her students. In her younger years, she enjoyed partying with her “sister group” of fellow teachers and treasured spending time with friends and family. Pat was also an avid reader and had a lifelong love of learning.

She is survived by her children Stephen Wingerson and wife Kimberly of Spring, Texas, Michael Wingerson of Vidor, Texas, and Jolie Johnson and husband Bryan of Orangefield, Texas; grandchildren Aaron Wingerson and wife Lauren, Austin Wingerson and wife Mayra, Colton Johnson, and Brylie Johnson; and two adopted grandchildren, Espyn Martin and Jordyn Burks.

Pat is also survived by her sister Ray Peveto of Beaumont, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 60 years, Joe Wingerson, and her sister, Jim Ann McDaniel.
