Pete Vick Morreale

November 5, 1922 — December 28, 2003

Pete Morreale, 81, of Vidor died Sunday, December 28, 2003 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. He was born in New Orleans LA, raised in Beaumont Texas and graduated from South Park High School. He worked as a Lineman with IBEW 390 since 1945 and lived in Vidor for 38 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theater aboard the submarine USS Batfish 310. He served as a Motor Machinist Mate Second Class on four war patrols. He was a member of the U.S. Submarine Association. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at Memorial Funeral Home, with a Rosary service at 7:00 p.m. He is survived by his loving wife Jessie Morreale of Vidor, daughter, Virginia Morreale of Vidor, sister, Virginia Weiblinger of Beaumont, 2 grandchildren, Sheila Bailleaux and husband Rodney, and Richard Morreale and wife April. Four great grandchildren, Jake Bailleaux, Logan Morreale, Luke Morreale, and Landon Morreale.
