Orange, TX

PJ was raised in Vidor, Texas where she was a creative, athletic and caring big sister. She moved to Houston in her early adult life before settling back in Orange close to family, where she spent her later years.

She went on to own PJ's Paints, a painting company, where her eye for detail and hard work became well known in the Orange area.

A true animal lover, PJ shared a deep bond with all creatures, great and small. She had several beloved pets and a passion for showing horses and dogs.

She loved being outdoors, whether tending to her animals and plants, traveling the Texas hill country or simply soaking in sunshine and fishing. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family, who brought her joy throughout her life.

PJ is survived by her sisters Beverly Haley, Rita Miller, Roslyn Haley, Renee Smith and husband Lynn; nephew Adam Herman; and nieces Amber Donovan, Shauna Haley, Lindsey Sudela, Crystal Smith, Leslie Laguna, Tania Webb, Kali Cannon, Robert Steigleder, Stacey Jones, several great nieces and nephews.

PJ will be remembered for her generous spirit, her love for animals, and the warmth she brought to every life she touched.
