Randy Ladd

Randy Ladd, born March 29, 1959, passed away on December 5, 2025. A longtime resident of Kirbyville, Randy worked for many years as a Field Service Technician for National Oil Well Varco (NOV), where he was known for his strong work ethic, dedication, and remarkable ability to repair anything placed in his hands. If it was broken, Randy could fix it.

He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—fishing, hunting, watching NASCAR and football, and working on the farm. Randy was also a talented woodworker who crafted beautiful pieces of furniture with skill and care. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his family and relaxing at his lake house on Toledo Bend, a place where countless special memories were made over the years.

Randy is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sherry Ladd of Kirbyville, TX; his sisters, Rhonda Ladd Sikes of Kountze, TX, and Renee` Ladd Bryant and husband Kyle of Vidor, TX; his nieces, Sara McDonald and husband Jason of Lumberton, TX, and Karrie Cano and husband Derrick of Spring Hill, FL; and his nephew, Kaleb Bryant and wife Kelly of Vidor, TX. He is also survived by numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Randy will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his devotion to his family, his willingness to help anyone in need, and the kindness he showed to everyone around him.
