Richard "Pop" Krummel Sr.

Richard "Pop" Louis Krummel Sr., 80, of Orangefield died Saturday, October 22nd, 2022 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont, Texas. He was a longtime resident of Port Arthur and had been living in Orangefield for the past 13 years. He was a member of St. Maurice Catholic Church. He served his country in the United States Army, and was stationed in Germany. He loved hunting, fishing, golfing and was a longtime flea market vendor known as the pokemon vendor. As a hobby he enjoyed collecting coins. One of his favorite things was attending his grandchildren's and great grandchildren's sports games. He was very active and loved constantly doing something. "Pop" loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. There will be a visitation Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 2:00 PM at St. Maurice Catholic Church in Mauriceville, Texas. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens in Nederland, Texas. Richard is survived by his wife of 42 years Louella Krummel of Orangefield, TX, his children: Richard " Pepe" Krummel Jr. and wife Jessie of Dallas, TX, Elizabeth Hayes and husband Donald of Mauriceville, TX, David Krummel and wife Syrena of Mauriceville, TX, Daniel Krummel of Beaumont, TX, Aaron Harris of Orangefield, TX, Sidney Harris of Orangefield, TX, Bob Harris of CO, and David Harris of Lafeyette, LA, his sister, Ruthy Guerrero and husband Poly of Colmesneil, TX, his grandchildren: Jerit, Jacob, Madeline, Katelyn, Carson, Zach, Dylan, Wade, Alexis, Salem, Cody, and Collin, and his great grandchildren: Fiarrah, Brooklyn, Blaine, Jordan, and Jarron. He was preceded in death by his parents Mike and El Krummel, and brother Mike Krummel.
