R.C. Campbell, 72, of Mauriceville, died Sunday, July 11th, 2021, and Susan Gwen Campbell, 71, of Mauriceville, died Friday, July 16th, 2021 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Natives of Vidor, they were longtime residents of Mauriceville. R.C. and Susan were members of The Cowboy Church and were active church goers. R.C. served his country in US Army and was a retired maintenance worker for VISD. R.C. enjoyed golfing, fishing and attending the rodeo. Susan was also retired, she loved sunflowers and spending precious time with family. Services have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, there will be a visitation Monday, July 19th, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor from 6:00PM until 8:00PM with a funeral service to follow at The Cowboy Church of Orange, in Orange, Texas, Tuesday July 20th at 10AM. Interment will take place afterward at The Cemetery in Orange, Texas. R.C. and Susan are survived by their children, Robert "Robby" Cecil Campbell Jr and his wife Carol of Orange, TX, Chad E. Campbell of Vidor, TX and Mindy Campbell Jenkins of Beaumont, TX, and two grandchildren, Ryan and Carmen Campbell. R.C. is survived by his brothers Gary Hodge of West Orange, TX and Dennis Hodge of Texas, sisters Patsy Jean Hunt of Petkins, LA, Donna Hodge of Alabama and Joyce Hodge of Beaumont, TX, Susan is survived by her brother Don English of Trinity, TX, and was preceded in death by her sister Linda Lightsey of Maddisonville, TX. R.C. and Susan Campbell were married for forty two years.
