Robert Mitchell Eaves

Robert "Mickey" M. Eaves, 71 of Vidor died Monday, January 9th, 2017 at his Vidor residence. A native of Gist, TX, he was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Robert retired from Motiva Refinery after 34 years as a process operator and worked at NASA as an jet engine mechanic when he was younger. He served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam conflict. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Turning point Church in Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Robert is survived by his daughters Shelly Odom and Sheila Russell Badeaux both of Vidor, TX, brother James Eaves and Ronald Eaves both of Vidor, TX, Russell Eaves of Brookeland, TX, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
