Roberta Wright Holmes

Mrs. Roberta Wright Holmes who was born on November 30,1926 in Churchpoint, LA and grew up in China,TX passed away the morning of August 4th, 2025 at the age of 98. She is preceded in death by her husband Junior Franklin Holmes, her son Dr. Patrick Whitman, daughter Linda Marie Whitman-Apgar, and granddaughter Megan Glasgow-LeBlanc. She is survived by her daughter Mary Ann Whitman-Fitzpatrick of San Antonio, TX and her son Bobby Whitman and his wife Melanie Whitman of Burkeville,TX. She leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and another one on the way.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August the 23rd at 10 AM at Memorial Funeral Home located at 1750 TX-12 in Vidor, TX 77662. Officiating the services will be Pastor Steven Skadal of Burkeville, Church of God.
