Rod Derek Thibodeaux

It is with broken hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of our son, Rod Derek Thibodeaux, age 38, of Willow Springs, Missouri. Rod was born in Houston, TX and departed from us on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 in St Louis, MO. He embraced Willow Springs, Missouri as his home for many years. Rod attended Willow Springs School and then furthered his education to become an AWS Certified Welding Inspector as well as other welding related certifications. He dedicated himself to ensuring quality and safety in his profession. Beyond his work he found solace and joy in the great outdoors where he indulged his passion for hunting and fishing. Rod leaves behind a legacy of love and memories cherished by his parents Gaylon and Karen Thibodeaux of Willow Springs, Missouri and also endless friends and family. Their loss is so deeply felt by all that knew and loved Rod as he touched so many with his kindness, dedication, and adventurous spirit. In honoring Rod’s memory, may we all find comfort in the moments shared and the impact he made on those around him. He will be always loved, deeply missed, and in our hearts forever.
