Roena Marie Travis

Roena Marie Travis 65, of Vidor died Friday, March 3rd, 2023 at her residence. A native of Beaumont, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Roena was a cook for Gary's Coffee Shop and Red Wagon here in Vidor. She enjoyed fishing, reading and cajun food. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A memorial service will begin at 2:00 Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Memorial Funeral Home. Roena was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Maebelle Bertrand, brothers Bill and Woodrow Bertrand, sister Terrie Bertrand. She is survived by her husband of 47 years Wesley D. Travis Sr. of Vidor, TX, children Wesley D. Travis Jr. and his wife Kathie, Rocky S. Travis Sr. and his wife Candice, Joshua D. Travis all of Vidor, TX, brothers Vernon Bertrand of Vidor, TX and Joe Bertrand of Orange, TX, sisters Bobbie Smith and Jeania Bertrand both of Orange, TX, Ruthie Gentry of Vidor, TX, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
