Roger Mayo, 54, of League City, TX., died Wednesday, October 5, 2005 in Houston, TX. A native of Pineville, Louisiana, he was raised and also graduated in Vidor, and lived in Houston for 15 years before moving to League City. He was a computer analyst for 5 years with AIG Insurance Company, and he proudly served his country in the United States Army. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 9, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. He is survived by his son Richard Mayo of Center, TX., daughters, Rachael Bearden of Longview, TX., and Karen Reyes of Center, TX., brother, Raymond Lee Morace of Jackson, GA., sisters, Dorcia Wiley of League City, TX., Barbara Smith of Corpus Christi, TX., Robin Jarrell of Vidor, and Vanessa Brownell of Buford, SC., and eight grandchildren.
