Ronald “Ronnie” Clifton Warwick, 78, of Vidor, passed away peacefully at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. A native of Matagorda County, Texas, Ronnie was a longtime resident of Vidor. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and later built a lifelong career as a dedicated sheet metal worker. Known for his great sense of humor and kind heart, Ronnie had a way of making everyone around him feel welcome and appreciated. He loved to laugh, share stories, and lend a helping hand whenever it was needed. Ronnie is survived by his children: Russell Warwick and wife Rene of Vidor, TX; Gwen Vercher of Destin, FL; and Robbie Warwick and wife Joy of Vidor, TX. He is also survived by his siblings Lee Pool of Houston, TX, and Donna Brown of Seattle, WA; 11 grandchildren: Amber Garcia, Ashley Warwick, Ross Warwick, Amy Triola, Skylah Elassadi, Zane Vercher, Kohl Vercher, Kruz Vercher, Garrett Warwick, Paityn Warwick and Haleigh Lipko; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Shelia Murray Warwick. Ronnie will be remembered for his laughter, kindness, and the warmth he brought to every gathering. His legacy of love and lightheartedness will live on through his family and all who were fortunate enough to know him. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
