Roy "Koko" Alfred Weaver Jr., 75, of Vidor, aka "West Mauriceville" died Tuesday, July 16th, 2024, at his residence. A longtime resident of Beaumont, Roy spent the last eight years in Vidor, lovingly referring to it as "West Mauriceville." He attended First Baptist Church of Vidor and he was the proud owner/operator of Koko's Auto and Welding. Roy had a passion for drag racing, enjoyed going out to eat with his family, and loved to travel. Roy is survived by his wife of 30 years, Melody Weaver of Vidor, TX; his children, Anitra Cardenas and husband Ray of Lumberton, TX, Garon Weaver and wife Tiffany of Fallston, MD, Cristi Hamilton and husband Ray of Buck Horn, TX, Robyn McInnis of Vidor, TX; and his sister, Christine Howard and husband John of Vidor, TX. He was a cherished grandfather to Lane, Kaleb, Allie, Jeremiah, Laynie, Branson, Haley, Kaydence, Danielle, Charlie, and Ray IV, and a beloved great-grandfather to Ember. He was preceded in death by his daughter Stacey Johnson, his parents Roy Sr. and Helen Seymour, and his sister Lana Thomas. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lion's Club in his memory.
