Scott Lynwood Lout, 58, of Vidor was born September 19th, 1957, in Falfurrias, TX and passed away Sunday, April 3rd, 2016 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. Scott lived most of his life in Vidor. He was an electrician for Sabine Neon Signs and Newtron Electric for over 30 years, working meticulously at his craft. He attended Turning Point Church where he gained spiritual strength during his illness. Scott enjoyed wildlife, the outdoors, cooking and riding his harley (Maybelle). Scott treasured family and friendships throughout his life, never meeting a stranger. He was passionate about music, and was a talented self-taught guitar player who admired and respected the musical talents of others. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Beth Lout. He is survived by his two sisters, Cindy Lout Blair (Byron) and Melanie Lout Cooper (Preston), nephew Shawn Blair, nieces Mariah Blair, Mallory Cooper and Hanna Cooper, along with many family members and friends. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 10:00 pm on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Turning Point Church. Scott touched many lives with his generosity and kind spirit. His legacy will live on in those who were privileged to know him. He will be missed by us all.
