Sheila Marie Smith

Sheila M. Smith, 73 of Vidor died Thursday, March 18th, 2021 at her residence. A native of Port Arthur, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Sheila was a member and co Pastor of Serenity Oaks Ministries in Vidor. She enjoyed spending time at the church and being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, March 22, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at The Cemetery in Mauriceville. She was preceded in death by her parents Sorris and Mildred McGee, son Larry Darren Hyde and daughter Christine Marie Hyde. She is survived by her husband of 37 years Jerry Smith of Vidor, TX, daughter Glynda Manuel of Crystal Beach, TX, step-daughters Crystal Fountain and step-son Jeremy Smith both of Buna, TX, brother Glenn McGee of Duncan, OK, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
