Shelia Jean Ferguson

Shelia Jean Ferguson, 76, of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away on Friday, June 8th, 2025, at Medical City McKinney in McKinney, Texas. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Shelia was a longtime resident of Grand Prairie and brought joy and creativity into the lives of those around her. She had a love for bowling, crafting, making jewelry, working puzzles, and spending time outdoors fishing and camping. She also enjoyed the occasional trip to the casino. Known for her sweet and loving nature—and just as much for her spirited personality—Shelia was always ready to lend a hand, listen with care, or share her honest opinion. She adored her dog Polly and wanted her by her side always. Shelia is survived by her son, David Anthony Ferguson of Grand Prairie, Texas, and her cherished granddaughters, Aurora Everly and Abigail Ferguson. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Ferguson.
