Shelly Ann Melancon

Shelly Ann Melancon, died on April 17, 2023, in Vidor, Texas, at the age of 57. Born on December 11, 1965, in Port Arthur, Texas. Shelly was the daughter of the late Fred and Carol Kennedy. Her children, Tony Balismo of Orange, Texas, Kirk Melancon of Kentucky, Rachel Melancon of Port Arthur, Texas, and Kelli Green of Vidor, Texas. In addition to her children, Shelly was a proud grandmother to three grandchildren. Shelly is also survived by her sisters, Phyllis O'Connor of Valley View, Texas, Dana Bertrand of Vidor, Texas, Tamra Kennedy of California, and Leslie Morris of Lumberton, Texas. Shelly was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Carol Kennedy, her daughter Kristen Balismo, and her granddaughter Olivia Coats. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A memorial service will begin at 10:00 am Monday, April 24, 2023 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
