Shirley Ann Steeley

Shirley Ann Steeley, 81, of Beaumont, passed away on Friday, February 16th, 2024, at her residence. Born in Caddo, Oklahoma, Shirley was a cherished member of the community, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth. For many years, Shirley called Village Mills her home before relocating to Beaumont three years ago. She found comfort and community as a devoted member of the Wildwood Community Church, where her faith was a guiding light in her life. Shirley was a dedicated homemaker, finding joy in caring for her family and creating a loving home environment. She had a passion for baking pies and cakes, delighting her loved ones with her delicious treats. Shirley also found fulfillment in her work on the blueberry farm, where she enjoyed being outdoors and working with her hands. In 2002, Shirley married the love of her life, Raymond Steeley, and together they shared many precious moments and cherished memories. Shirley is survived by her children, Richard Stubbs of Beaumont, TX, and Ronald Stubbs and wife Pixie of Lumberton, TX. She is also survived by her stepsons, Raymond Steeley Jr of Village Mills, TX, Lucas Steeley, and Samuel Steeley, as well as her brothers, JD Skiles and wife Syble of Vidor, TX, and Jerry Skiles and wife Ailene of Vidor, TX. Her memory will be forever treasured by her grandchildren, JJ Stubbs, Chloe Stubbs, and Kristina Anthony. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Steeley, and her son Robert Stubs and parents, James A. and Willie Etta Skiles, her brother, Junior Skiles, and her sisters, Norma Harvey, Maxine Carbello, and Ruby Venable. Shirley's gentle spirit and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace, and may her family find comfort in the cherished memories they shared with her.
