Shirley Faye Church

Shirley Faye Church, 84, of Vidor, passed away peacefully at her residence on June 26, 2025.

Born to Harvey Turner McNeely and Beatrice McNeely, Shirley graduated from Silsbee High School and went on to build a long and fulfilling career with ExxonMobil before retiring.

A devoted member of Turning Point Church, Shirley found great joy in her faith and the fellowship of her church community. She loved spending time with her sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and she took pride in making her home a warm, welcoming place. Whether she was cooking and baking her family’s favorite recipes, sewing, tending her garden, reading a good book, or enjoying an outing with friends, Shirley brought kindness and grace to everything she did.

She is survived by her sons, Jason Church and his wife Tammie Church, and Scotty Church and his wife Connie Church; grandchildren, Jacee Church and Heather Delcambre; great-grandchildren, Cory Delcambre, Kaitlyn Delcambre, and Blake Delcambre; and her sister, Billye McNeely.

Shirley’s love, faith, and gentle spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
