Stacey Renee' Holmes

Stacey R. Holmes, 44, of Vidor died Saturday, July 15th, 2017 at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, after a long and courageous battle with ovarian cancer. A native of Beaumont, TX, she spent many years in Newton, TX and was a longtime resident of Vidor. Stacey was an Events Planner for Benoit's Louis Hall in Vidor, TX before her illness and was a member of Crossroads Christian Fellowship Church in Newton, TX. Stacy was involved with sports, cheerleading, beauty contests and FFA with her daughter Haley. She loved growing flowers, making craft projects and had a great love for music. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Monday, July 17, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home in Vidor with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Stacey is survived by her daughter Haley Holmes of Newton, TX, mother and step father Melody and Roy "Koko" Weaver of Vidor, TX, father and step mother Paul and Glenda Johnson of Bon Wier, TX, sisters Cristi Amburn of Bon Wier, TX, Robyn McInnis of Orange, TX, bonus sister Anitra Cardenas of Lumberton, TX, bonus brother Garon Weaver of Beaumont, TX, step brother Jason Johnson of Bon Wier, TX, grandparents Huey and Wanda Buxton of Vidor, TX, boyfriend Joe Benoit of Mauriceville, TX, numerous aunts, uncles and friends.
