Steven Troy Alverson

Steven Troy Alverson, aged 65, a longtime resident of Vidor, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, September 20th, 2023, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. He was a beloved figure in the Vidor community, known for his passion for auto racing, particularly NASCAR and drag racing, as well as his green thumb in gardening. However, his greatest joy in life was spending quality time with his family, especially his cherished grandson, Ronan.

Steven will be remembered as a loving father, husband, and grandfather, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and devotion to his loved ones. His memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.

Steven is survived by his loving wife, Mary Roxanne Alverson of Vidor, TX, who stood by his side throughout their journey together. He is also survived by his children: Christina Ashley Alverson of Vidor, TX, and Jacob Alex Alverson of Vidor, TX. His adored grandson, Ronan Ivar Alverson, will carry his memory forward as a testament to the love and bond they shared.

Steven Troy Alverson's departure leaves a void in the lives of those who knew him, but his legacy of love, family, and passion will continue to inspire and bring comfort to his loved ones.
