Terry Anne Griffith

Terry Anne Griffith, 75, of Vidor, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025, at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. She was born in Long Beach, California, and spent many years in Southeast Texas, where she built a life centered around love, service, and family.

A devoted nurse, Terry worked as an LVN with Burton Hospice, where she brought comfort and compassion to many during their final days. Her gentle spirit and strong heart made her a natural caregiver, both professionally and personally. She had a deep love for spending time with her family—her children and grandchildren truly were the center of her world.

Terry also found great joy in flower gardening, nurturing beauty in every space she touched, just as she did with the lives around her.

She is survived by her loving children: Brian Keenon of Vidor, TX; Scott Hensler and wife Crystal of Hinesville, GA; Kevin Keenon of Winnie, TX; Jay Keenon and wife Tiffany of Vidor, TX., Beth Dougherty and husband Andrew of Vidor, TX. , Crystal Tapps and husband Kellen of Round Rock, TX., Barbie Wileman and husband Scotty of Leesville, LA; and David Lee Allen and wife Tina of Lumberton, TX.

Terry also leaves behind her cherished siblings, Stephanie Catlett and husband Mike of Hot Springs Village, AR, and Jon Roof and wife Danielle of Ventura, CA; as well as 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense pride and joy.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Tommy Davis Sr. and Allen Griffith; her parents Harry Budd Roof and Mary Gallion; her grandparents Fred Roof, Charlotte “Chubb” Rogers, and Francis Eldridge; and her great-grandmother Emma Dove Love.

Terry’s love was rooted deep and wide, and the legacy of her kindness, devotion, and strength lives on in those who knew and loved her.
