Theda Johnson

Theda Johnson, 92, died Monday, January 23rd, 2017 in Vidor, TX. A native of Starks, LA, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Theda worked as an LVN in ICU on the nightshift at Baptist Hospital. She attended Northwest Baptist Church and enjoyed bowling, hunting and fishing. Her own recipe for dirty rice made it in the Beaumont Enterprise. Visitation will be Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 12:00p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with her funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Theda is survived by 1 son; Paul N. Johnson of Vidor and his companion Kathy Gray, 1 daughter; Pat Barker of Vidor, 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, and her loving Sheltie and best companion, Prissy Jean Johnson her sheltie. Theda was preceded in death by her grandson Bill Scott, Jr.
