Thomas Glenn Young

Thomas Glenn Young, 84, of Vidor, Texas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at his home. A longtime resident of Vidor, Thomas was known for his love of the outdoors, his craftsmanship, and his devotion to family and community.

Thomas retired as a supervisor from Goodyear Chemical after a long and dedicated career. In his leisure time, he found joy in golfing, fishing, and hunting, and enjoyed restoring classic cars showcased his remarkable attention to detail and creativity, leaving behind a legacy of beautifully restored automobiles that reflected his talent and dedication.

He is survived by his son Kenneth Young of Vidor, TX, along with three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren who brought him immense pride and joy.

Thomas was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Denise Young; his son, Steve Young; and his brothers, Jimmy Young and Russell Young.

The memory of Thomas’s vibrant spirit, love for life, and the cherished moments he created with family and friends will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
