Thurman Eason Cash, Sr.

Thurman E. Cash, 73, of Vidor died Sunday, April 29, 2007 at his residence. A native of Lavina, TN., he has lived in Vidor since 1958, and was a retired truck driver for Central Freight after 34 years of faithful service. He proudly served in the National Guard. He was a member of Pecan Acres Baptist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 4, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Hattie Cash, brothers Vernon Cash, and Hugh Cash, sister Marie Sandlen, and great grandchild Rylee Thompson. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Peggy Cash of Vidor, sons Thurman “Buddy” Cash, Jr of Sour Lake, TX., David G. Cash, and Robert S. Cash both of Vidor, daughters Pamela Thompson, and Fredonna Seigrist both of Vidor, brother Marvin Donald Cash of Port Arthur, TX., eleven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
